Time Out

Time Out start back after the summer break on Tuesday 27th August.  We will have the usual arrangements with coffee / tea served in the lower hall from 9:15am onwards followed by a study starting upstairs in the lounge at close to 10:00 am.

Time Out is a Bible study for any women in the church, from students, young Mum's to retirees and all others!  The only condition to joining us is being free on a Tuesday morning!  We'd love to welcome you into the group.

This term we are studying the book of 1 John.  John wrote to the first-century church which had been invaded by false teachers.  He wrote to help 'dear children', not only to know the real truth of the gospel, but also to be confident of it.  The message he wrote is just as relevant to us today.  We all urgently need to hear and obey God's loving message in this letter.  Our studies will help us to continue in Christ, so that we may be discerning about the truth, confident in its meaning for out lives and unashamed when He returns.  For the morning of the 27th Rachel Sloan will be doing an introduction to 1 John and then we will start the first few questions in the study. So there is no need to prepare the whole study before hand.

Books are available from Claire Halliday before or you can pick them up on Tuesday.  We hope to see you there.
